Our Story
Weeb Express is a UK-based anime merchandise retailer founded in June 2021 with a simple mission: to give UK anime fans better access to official merch at fair prices.
As longtime anime fans, we noticed that local options were often overpriced and had limited variety. Many dedicated fans had to rely on proxy services to import products from Japan, a process that can be expensive, slow, and sometimes confusing. We wanted to change that.
Supported by the University of Birmingham’s B-Enterprising programme, our founder Heidi turned her passion for anime into a business. A lifelong collector and former anime society president, she created Weeb Express to build a community for fans like her.
Since then, we’ve proudly exhibited at major UK conventions like MCM Comic Con, Hyper Japan, and MegaCon, sharing our love of anime and official merch with fans nationwide.
